With nearly the entire state suffering from extreme drought, farmer aren’t expected to see any irrigation water until June – nearly three months later than usual.

Here’s videotape we took of state senators Phil Griego, D-San Jose, and Joseph Cervantes, D-Las Cruces, about how the parched conditions are affecting farmers and ranchers in the state and legislation each legislator is suggesting, including a $120 million bill introduced last Tuesday (Feb. 5) by Sen. Cervantes:
